| AAODLC.Org Member Certification Program |
Introduction: The main mission of our organization is to improve the Quality and Integrity of those who choose to consult in the Dental Legal Field. We do this by Education, Research, and Service based upon our Ethical Code of Conduct so that Justice may be properly served, and Honor maintained within our profession.
|
Mission of the Certification Program: The Public Trust, and that of our Judges, and the Attorneys that we serve can not be violated. To support these goals a minimal Standardization of our skills should be confirmed and validated.
We have therefore created an AAODLC Member Certification Program with these ideals in mind. It will be a continuous work-in-progress that will change as needed to conform to current Legal standards.
To insure the Quality of our Certification Process we will seek the guidance of experience from our Honorary Society Members, and allow for participation of our General Members in creating the best program possible.
It is our intention that Members who have an AAODLC Certification will be viewed by the Public as a trusted unbiased professional. We must endeavor to maintain the integrity of this Certification. It is our hope that Attorneys will seek the AAODLC Certification “Brand Name,” rather than simply risk hiring a “Hired Gun” of questionable credibility.
|
The Certification Process:
By developing a High Quality Certification Process, we can insure that the general public perceives Members as having a unique skills set, and that this skill set can best serve their needs better than any other consultant. This program must be comprehensive in all facets of Dental Legal Consulting, and must include basic knowledge of sub-specialties within Dental Legal Consulting. These sub-specialties can include: Forensics, Arbitration, Document Analysis, Forensic Accounting, Chemical Analysis, Dental Materials, Business Structure, etc.
The goal is to not wipe out a Dental Legal Consultant’s Expertise. We are after all generally consultants independent of each other; brought together only to improve the quality of our service. But rather the goal of the Certification Process is to complement Members with a comprehensive understanding of the profession. A holistic approach allows certified members to better coordinate with their collages and maneuver safely with in the Justice System.
